Before you actually give birth, your body may show some signs of labor approaching. The signs of labor approaching give you some clue that your baby will come. There are some changes or reactions of your body. The signs of labor approaching may come as early as one month or few days or few weeks before labor begins.
The changes or the signs of labor approaching may not occur in any particular order. There is no way to predict exactly when labor starts. But any changes and symptoms of the body will be the signs of labor approaching.
You will fell contractions that gradually become longer. The contractions help the cervix to dilate and open up for the baby to be born. Sometimes contractions happen when pre-labor. In some cases, women may also get pink mucus. It is because the increasing in vaginal discharge. This discharge will change from being thick and cloudy to clear and watery. It may indicate infection if it has a yellow tinge. This discharge is considered to be a clue that the cervix is dilating and preparing for the labor.
Another signs of labor approaching is diarrhea and nausea. Diarrhea and nausea may occur off and on for a few weeks or a few days before labor. It is because the body cleans out the body system to make more space for the baby to move downward. Your cervix and uterus are softening, and this causes your bowels to soften as well.
For addition, when you are in the weeks prior to labor, the activity of your baby may decrease. The baby is probably reserving his oxygen, energy and nutrient supply for use during labor.
Some of the signs of labor approaching may give you quite information and make you can take the best preparation for delivery. However, there is no guarantee how soon the birth will take place.
